Mouth-Watering Yellowfin Tuna

Known as “beef steak of the sea,” yellowfin tuna is a nutrient-dense, delicious fish that lives in the pelagic (open ocean) waters off both of Florida’s coasts. It’s available year-round but June, July, and August are its peak months. Commercial catches of this fish tend to weigh between 20 to 100 pounds, but some have weighed up to as much as 400 pounds.

Ideal for grilling, this ruby-red or light red colored delight cooks up off-white and has a mild yet flavor-packed taste.
